Role Summary

The Business Development Representative will serve as the Mid-Atlantic liaison between the pharmacy and healthcare professionals/practices by directing efforts for support and education related to Revelation’s core product lines and services. The ideal candidate will be in the PA area with centralized territory access. In addition, the Business Development Representative will manage and maintain a healthy deal pipeline by identifying new markets and prospects to help drive significant market growth.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and drive significant new business opportunities for assigned geographical territory.
  • Develop comprehensive sales and pipeline plan.
  • Take ownership and demonstrate the ability to drive monthly sales results through superior selling skills.
  • Proven ability to observe and identify market opportunities and challenges and subsequently develop, plan, implement, and follow through with action plans to positively influence opportunities and challenges.
  • Maintain contact with customers to resolve challenges, facilitate client needs, and consistently educate on new compounded products and services.
  • Develop and execute innovative strategies to reach difficult access to healthcare providers and accounts in a compliant manner.
  • Consistently exhibits a high level of proficiency and expertise in discussing and demonstrating the company’s products, as well as the related disease state(s) and competitive products.
  • Must possess the ability to work effectively in a team environment while positive, open communication and collaboration with coworkers exercised.
  • Consistently executes all field sales activities with professionalism in accordance with established ethical guidelines, regulations, and standards.
  • Generating Sales Qualified Leads (SQL) organically through blended sales activities including onsite visits, targeted call and email plans.
  • Work cross functionally with Therapeutic Line Specialist (TLS), and pharmacy staff members on shared accounts to resolve potential issues or challenges.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High School diploma
  • Knowledge of Pharmacy industry and general economics of the business
  • Experience in outside or inside sales (preferred biotechnology, healthcare
  • Above average interpersonal, platform, and written communication skills
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to build/maintain customer relationships
  • Excellent work ethic, including a personal drive to excel independently
  • Solid PC skills including Microsoft software
  • Proficient in utilizing CRM, route planning, and other tools.
  • Experience in compounding pharmacy 503A/503B (preferred, not required), including Health and Wellness, Urology, Pain Management, Podiatry, Dermatology, Integrative/Functional Medicine
